“Green Paper Retardation” has become my go-to term for anything stupid or absurd that humans do because of money. Government programs that are excellent but not implemented because of a lack of green rectangles. Medical facilities refusing treatment due to insufficient green papers. If a human-healing facility doesn’t heal, what use does it have? If it only heals those with green papers, it’s a green paper shuffling facility, not a human-healing one. If a homeless person, despite misfortune, is a functional human deserving a second chance, they are objectively valuable — unless you apply the green arcade ticket rule, which obscures their value. All of these instances are examples of green paper retardation (GPR).
If I were to give a primary definition to GPR, it would be: confusing the rules of reality with the rules of money. Or a token system, technically speaking. The token economy is a method to enhance reality, not replace it. Even if its aim were to replace reality, what a dismal replacement it is. Every human should glue their eyes to the floor for a month to start scratching the surface of redeeming ourselves. What a shameful way to operate and exist — slinging green rectangles with arrogance as if they were actual markers of value. Yes, they can reflect value, but by no means do they exclusively or remarkably represent value.
I’d be the first to be grateful for an Elon Musk-type character, but I can’t lie to myself and act like there’s a huge disparity between all PFC beings. Elon Musk started building rockets, but look at how many greedy rich people followed in his footsteps, and how quickly. Are we going to pretend a child with a million dollars couldn’t wish for something like that? The possibility of rocket ships has existed since NASA; rocket ships themselves have been cracked. As a result, the modification and creation of them will be infinitely simpler in terms of conceptualization from now on. In other words, any person with enough money can order a bunch of experts to build them a rocket, theoretically. All you need is a brain and a mouth (and cash). When you give the order, your brain doesn’t radiate a shock wave, amazing all in its wake. It’s a simple signal that every human can transmit. The question is, do you have the support?
How many times have we inflated the value of a person like Elon Musk or deflated their value like a homeless person? How many false rewards and punishments have we issued on the human race due to green paper retardation?
If every average human has a functioning PFC, then once they self-actualize, there’s actually very little difference between them and the next person, especially in terms of brain ability. Freedom of choice leads to variety, but when it comes to humans in their base form, they are PFC beings, and PFC beings do what PFC beings do — they plan and create the future. They set goals and accomplish them. Setting goals and accomplishing them is as normal as a bird flying out of its nest for the first time. There aren’t individuals and non-individuals (or NPCs). There are individuals and un-activated individuals. The person taking orders from Musk could easily (physically) give an order to another person, for the same task, and you couldn’t tell the difference.
